Why Can’t ASTM D2622 Be Used for
Sulfur Content in B100?

According to ASTM D6751 there are several options for testing sulfur in biodiesel, but the specification also states D2622 may give falsely high results due to the presence of oxygen in biodiesel.

ASTM D2622 states the opposite and in a comparison with D7039 indicates that high oxygen content causes low, not high bias.

Should ASTM D6751 be updated?
